Iran expresses 'concern' after 'suspicious' tanker incidents
Khamenei: You said Mr. @abeshinzo, that Trump has said negotiations with the U.S. would lead to Iran's progress. By the Grace of God, without negotiations and despite sanctions, we will progress.
Khamenei: After the nuclear deal, the first one to immediately breach the JCPOA was Obama; the same person who had requested negotiations with Iran and had sent a mediator. This is our experience, and Mr. Abe, know that we won't repeat the same experience.
Khamenei: [email protected]
U.S. president met and talked with you a few days ago, including about Iran. But after returning from Japan, he immediately imposed sanctions on Iran's petrochemical industry. Is this a message of honesty Does that show he is willing to hold genuine negotiations
Supreme Leader of Iran Khamenei: Trump's words that America does not want to change our regime is a pure lie, if he was able to do it, will do so without hesitation
Khamenei: We do not believe at all that the U.S. is seeking genuine negotiations with Iran; because genuine negotiations would never come from a person like Trump. Genuineness is very rare among U.S. officials.
Supreme Leader of Iran Khamenei: Trump does not deserve to exchange messages with him and I have no answers or private messages sent to him
Khamenei: The U.S. doesn't have, by any means, the competency to say which country should or shouldn't possess nuclear weapons; because the U.S. has thousands of nuclear warheads in its arsenals.
Khamenei: We oppose nuclear weapons and our religious verdicts prohibit building nuclear weapons. But know that if we ever intended to produce nuclear weapons, the U.S. wouldn't be able to do anything against that, and U.S.'s prohibition would never make an obstacle.

Frontline oil tanker Front Altair still on fire, has not sunk -Frontline spokesman citing information from nearby vessel
Attacked happened about 0630 Local time (0230 UTC) On the VHF the distress call stated they were under attack and on fire. They had to abandon ship and were picked up by Hyundai Dubai. They were then transferred to an Iranian SAR vessel and Hyundai Dubai continued its voyage.
Khamenei: Our problem with the U.S. is not the issue of government change; because even if they pursue such a thing, they won't be able to achieve it, just as previous U.S. presidents tried in vain to destroy the Islamic Republic over the past 40 years.
Khamenei: The Islamic Republic has no trust in the U.S. and the previous bitter experience we had in negotiating with the U.S. within JCPOA will never be repeated again, because no free and wise nation would accept negotiations under pressure.

: Sitting at anchor off Fujairah in the Gulf of Oman and tanker Front Altair is torpedoed 45 miles away from us, another one Kokuka Courageous is hit 75 miles away.
Khamenei: We have no doubt in @abeshinzo's goodwill and seriousness; but regarding what you mentioned from U.S. president, I don't consider Trump as a person deserving to exchange messages with; I have no response for him and will not answer him.
