Axios reported, citing three US officials, that US President Donald Trump and his top advisers are considering conducting limited strikes in the Strait of Hormuz to prevent the Islamic Republic from rebuilding its radar and missile capabilities to attack ships. The plan, developed last week by US Central Command and backed by Secretary of War Pete Hegsett, had not been approved by Trump before this weekend's exchange of fire with Iran.
